See Krishna Everywhere
Kṛṣṇa-kāntī: (introducing recording) Śrīla Prabhupāda’s morning walk, recorded May 14th, 1973, at Cheviot Hills Park, in Los Angeles. Prabhupāda: The material energy, it is also coming from Kṛṣṇa. The spiritual en . . . Kṛṣṇa Himself is spiritual energy. Exactly like that is. This weather is coming from sun, but sun is covered. The weather created by sun makes himself covered; not himself covered, it is covering our eyes. Sun is not covered; my eyes are covered. The Witches in Our Hearts
Lecture on The Nectar of Devotion, January 29, 1973, in Calcutta by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Bhavānanda: (reading) “. . . if someone has desire for material enjoyment or for becoming one with the Supreme, these are both considered material concepts.” Prabhupāda: Yes. Three kinds of happinesses: bhoga, tyāga and bhakti, sevā. Bhoga tyāga sevā. The karmīs, they are after bhoga, sense enjoyment. And the jñānīs, they are after another side of negation of sense enjoyment. When one is fed up with sense enjoyment . . . just like in your country, the young boys, they are practically fed up with the way of sense enjoyment as their fathers…

Answers to a Questionnaire From Bhavan’s Journal 2, New Vrindavana, June 30, 1976 Excerpt below begins at 33:05 Puṣṭa Kṛṣṇa: Can I ask another question, Śrīla Prabhupāda? Question number nine: “Is a guru essential to one to enter the spiritual path and attain the goal? And how does one recognize one’s guru?” Prabhupāda: Yes. That is explained, that guru is necessary.
